New Regional Chapter DRAFT Proposal

| Purpose | Overriding Principle | Officers and Board Members |
| By-Laws | Chapter Services to Branches|

PURPOSE

This proposal sets the structure for creation of a new regional chapter, entitled, "CHADD of Northern California" which would be comprised of various local branches. The officers and board members of the regional chapter would be elected from all regions and board meetings could occur primarily via teleconferencing. The purpose of this collaborative effort is to provide greater support to local areas by relieving coordinator and volunteer burnout, allowing time to focus locally on outreach, for example, rather than time consuming administrative functions.

OVERRIDING PRINCIPLE

The overriding principle is that each branch is treated fairly and equitably, and that each branch retains the ability to continue to provide the same types and level of service to the community as when they were a chapter. The regional chapter will commit to supporting the branches in delivering these services.
