Parent to Parent: Family Training on AD/HD

A Seven-Session Program for Adults and Parents of Children and Adolescents with AD/HD.

This unique program will include seven two-hour interactive (group participation) sessions that will cover:

Overview of AD/HD
Assessment to Treatment
Impact of AD/HD on the Family & Creating Positive Behavioral Interventions
Developing Parenting Strategies and Interventions That Strengthen Family Relationships
What Do I Do When My Child is Having Difficulty at School?
- Understanding the Federal Laws: An Overview of 504 and IDEA
Working with the Schools: Building an Education Team That Works
Adults Across the Lifespan & Adults with AD/HD

This is a very comprehensive program that covers it all! Space is limited to 14 couples and/or significant others per class. Each family receives a complete handbook, worksheets and much, much more. Cost for this program is $100.00 per family.

Place: 710 South Broadway; Walnut Creek - Room 3E (Kaiser Walnut Creek)
( Kaiser Mental Health, behind Nordstrom, & next to Safeway on corner of Mt. Diablo Blvd) directions
Time: 7:00-9:00 PM (sharp) for all classes.

5th Class starts May 13, 20, 27, June 3, 10, 17, & 24, 2008
