Annual Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 12:20pm.

Present:

Items:

• It was moved by Linda Lawton, seconded by Shari Ghent and passed unanimously that the minutes of the last meeting be accepted.
• It was moved by Donna Love, seconded by Holly Seerley and passed unanimously that the Treasurer’s Report be approved. Current chapter funds balance is $12,360.87.
• Board Elections were held. Executive Officers are:
  • Chapter Coordinator, Holly Graff
  • Treasurer and Membership Coordinator, Judy Marshall
  • Program Coordinator, Beverlee Kell
  • Secretary and Webmaster, Gina Pera and Lew Mills
  • Inquiries Coordinator, Eileen Barry
  • Group Coordinators were also appointed, see list at www.chaddnorcal.org/ExecBoard/OrgChart.htm
• There was no chapter legislative activity since the last meeting.
• There was no chapter lobbying activity since the last meeting.

Actions Taken:

1. Goal: to increase membership from 646 to 1200 by next year.
   • a. All group leaders to encourage membership renewal and new memberships.
   • b. Gina Pera will create a list of membership benefits for group leaders to use to boost membership.
   • c. Group leaders to call former members on the Expired Membership list and ask if they’d like to renew and what CHADD can do to improve services.
   • d. Goal: track progress on membership growth. Judy Marshall to update all group leaders monthly on total membership # vs. our goal of 1200.
2. Goal: increase groups, especially parent support group in Sonoma and San Francisco, adult and parent support groups in San Jose, Spanish language parent support group in all counties, Chinese language group in areas with large Chinese population.
• a. Ask, encourage and refer any potential new group leaders to Beverlee Kell, program coordinator for coaching and assistance.
3. Goal: identify and train a new webmaster and membership assistant.
   • a. Gina Pera to gradually assume webmaster role from Lew Mills and eventually identify and train a new webmaster.
   • b. Gina Pera to continue sending email membership renewal reminders to all chapter members who did not renew.
   • c. Judy to identify what additional assistance she needs and seek volunteer.

• Meeting was adjourned at 2:55 pm.
