Called to Order at 1:20 pm

Items:

• Treasurer's Report:
  • There was a request that we look into more detailed accounting for expenses, to show, for example, specific phone lines as expenses.
  • There was also a suggestion that we look into developing a budgeting process, estimating income from membership and approximate expenses.
  • Decided: Judy, Gina and Lew will look at it more.
• Steering Committee Structure
  • It was approved that we will define a "Steering Committee" of the Executive Board, consisting of four members of the board. Only those positions on the Steering Committee need to be voted into office. The others are by virtue of having a job, such as being a support group leader.

Actions taken:

The Election of Board Members for Chapter #504 was conducted by the entire group and ballots were counted by Terry Reinstra. There were 10 votes total, and they were all for all of the listed elected board members here. The results of this election become effective on July 1, 2006, the beginning of our fiscal year.

Other Agenda Items:

• All present introduced who they were and the city their Branch meetings were held.

There was no chapter legislative activity since the last meeting.

There was no chapter lobbying activity since the last meeting.
